Rich Hoyer is Director of Customer FinOps at SADA. Rich began his career in finance, conducting valuation analysis of mergers & acquisitions. After business school he began a career in technology when he founded a small business providing outsourced IT to other small businesses. He got his first exposure to public cloud after selling his business and conducting his first cloud migration at Zenoss, where he established and led the Customer Enablement team. Since then, he has been combining his finance and technology experiences as leading practitioner in FinOps, first at Cloudability and subsequently by establishing and leading Onica’s FinOps practice. He is a member of the FinOps Foundation’s Technical Advisory Counsel and regularly publishes thought-leadership articles on FinOps best practices.

Rich holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
