Almond leads a team of Cloud Customer Engineers to serve the Large Enterprise segment in Canada focusing on strategic AI & data organizations. He has worked with clients & partners to design and scale many types of applications in the cloud ranging from AI/ML, data analytics, AppDev, infrastructure, cloud architecture, and cloud security. With over 17 years of technical experience including 6 years with Google, Almond previously held senior systems engineering roles at Commvault and Seagate, and held a number of technical roles at IBM where he worked in data center architecture, databases, and networking. Almond holds a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees from Ryerson University in Toronto.
