Anitta Namanya is a Senior Information Security Product Owner at Broad, leading a team of security engineers. Their primary role is to collaborate with Broadies to manage and mitigate risk across Broad's technology environment. Anitta has over 10 years of experience, having previously worked as a researcher, analyst, and principal engineer in information security. Anitta holds a PhD in Cyber Security and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer. She is a wife and mother, an advocate for girls' education in Uganda, and remains committed to learning.
