Omar is Head of Security Solutions for US West, Google Cloud. His team’s primary responsibility is to align technology solutions to a customer’s security OKRs and business objectives.
Omar has spent 7 years at Google, over two tenures, in various solution engineering leadership roles. Before rejoining Google a year ago, Omar was VP of Cloud Security at Palo Alto Networks. With previous experience at Symantec and Veritas, Omar has helped enterprises build strong cybersecurity postures as well as resilient application architectures.
